Lace up leather boots
I've been working diligently trying to finish her costume. I wanted to make her a pair of leather lace up boots. I looked at period Renaissance Shoes and thought a leather turn shoe may be fitting but I ended up hand sewing a leather high top lace up boot, something like a moccasin. This was quite the task.
I finished her chemise and gave her bloomers and a purple silk skirt. She may also receive a petticoat.

Witch Doll by Bethann Scott
I've always longed to sew a corset for one of my dolls. I sewed her a corset style bodice with inserted stays. The vest is lined in silk and the loop holes are hand sewn. This took some time to get the fitting right. She's come a long way and now there is just a few more details to work out and she will be finished.

Awesome shoe! I mentioned to my brother just the other day, that I might tackle making some doll shoes. He brought me some soft thin black leather he had. It's thin enough that I think I can hand sew it. I'm thinking of a very simple Maryjane shoe. You have really out done yourself with those fine boots!
