DOLL WIP

I have a cloth doll in progress. I've been making little adjustments to my doll head pattern. I'm trying to add to the forehead to get a more realistic head shape. This doll head still needs a bigger forehead. I've also been experimenting with the doll body shape. I gave this gal green eyes and she'll probably have red hair.

You and I have a lot in common! I only started making dolls in 2005 and I also sew every day! Your work is beautiful!

I know what you mean about making foreheads higher. It means making it long enough to accommodate a wig. I have been experimenting myself with my Dwrfbred doll, just loaded on my blog, so I could not only wig him, but have his helmet actually fit on his head! I would be happy to show you how I did it if you email me? sfmitchell@xtra.co.nz
Love your work!
