AFRICAN AMERICAN DOLL IS FINISHED

Funny how dolls look with no hair! Her brown fuzzy lambs wool hair was needle felted into pigtails. She's quite a happy little girl and is finally done. I love her dress fabric. It is a lovely cotton fabric with green, brown and teal colors. The print is beautiful flowers and butterflies.

She is jointed at the shoulders and thighs and can sit nicely. Under the dress she has on white cotton underpants.

Every time i make a doll, I'm grateful that I have hair! It makes such a difference once they get some tresses. She's so sweet and I love her optimistic little face.
