ADDING COLOR ~BETHANN SCOTT~ The Stitch Fiddler

 Today I added color to her face.  This is my first doll with "teeth".

 I wasn't satisfied with the first body I made. It was shorter than the original pattern. Here is what the body is suppose to look like.

Absolutely beautiful:) I'm still not happy with the last head I made so today I'm going to try again. What type of fabric did you use to skin the face? It looks like gauze...whatever it is you did a fabulous job.

Thank-you Mary Ann. I used Osnaburg fabric. The fibers are not dense and it has the appearance of cotton gauze. It was one of those situations where I "made do" with what I had and it worked!
