HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

To celebrate Saint Patrick's Day I thought I would post a photo of a Folk Art Style cloth rag doll I made back in 2011. My style of cloth dolls has changed over the last few years. I miss sewing the rag dolls but I have new things in store for 2018.

She's adorable! Your talents show through in her just as well as they do with your creations today. It is fun to take a look back once in a while. It might even be fun to go back and create another from this style just to see what might happen. It's too late to wish you a happy St. Patrick's Day, so I'll just go for Happy Spring!

I saw the photo of this doll in my reading list and thought--wow, Beth Ann must be going in a new direction! Then read this is the direction you've come FROM. (I'll catch up in a minute, I promise. :~P )

Happy Spring to you, too!

Thanks Chip Butter (Mary). Yes, it's fun to take a look back and see my older style of dolls. Now that's a thought, going back and seeing what I would create using that style. Her head looks so big compared to what I make today. But she is more of a character doll. Happy Spring!

I can see why you thought I was going in a new direction Jan. She's so different from what I make today. The older round head dolls are so easy compared to the cloth art dolls I create today.
