STEAMPUNK ADELINE MY STEAMPUNK CHALLENGE DOLL

For my Steampunk Challenge Entry I made "Steampunk Adeline, Keeper of Time Travel". She is a very Victorian young lady who loves to travel, in time, that is! With a blink of her Robotic left eye, she can travel through time. I used Deanna Hogan's doll pattern and had fun designing her outfit. She has on a puffy sleeve blouse, a three tier overskirt with leather waistband and leather straps in the front, a petticoat made from crinkle doupioni silk, black satin pantaletts, knee high leather boots decorated with mechanical wheels, a matching parasol, and a leather steampunk hat with all the trimmings.

Your steampunk Adeline is soooo charming. I think I have that pattern from Deanna Hogan. I am in the Cloth and Clay doll ning site since the fall of 2008, although I haven't been able to make as many dolls as I would like. I enjoy viewing what other doll makers have created.
You have a real talent for variety in doll making. I feel the same way. I will try the next technique that comes around when it comes to making dolls.
Have a lovely New Year's Eve~

Thank-you Teresa, I entered this doll in the Cloth Doll Artistry Challenge. My first challenge doll. I had fun creating her clothing.
Yes, I do make a variety of dolls...I can get bored doing just one type of doll. I love to learn and try different styles.
I hope to do a cloth over clay doll one day.
Happy New Year to you! :)
