Old World Father Christmas ~The Stitch Fiddler ~ Bethann Scott

Now that summer is past and Autumn is here it's time for me to begin Christmas dolls. To start the season off, I made a Folk Art Father Christmas dressed in cream wool.  I also made a Feather Tree decorated with miniature baskets and rustic jingle bells.

I love your Father Christmas figures. He and the wonderful little feather tree, along with the background painting make such a lovely Christmas picture - perfect for a greeting card!

Thank-you Chip Butter, Mary. I enjoy making the feather tress. I've had this oil painting for years and it does make a nice background picture for my Christmas dolls.

Thank-you Sherri. I'm making a few seasonal dolls and it won't be long and I'll be posting a few photos.
