CLOTH DOLL WIP ~RED RIDING HOOD AND THE WOOF~ by Bethann Scott

It's hard to believe it's been almost one month since my last post. As far as sewing goes, I haven't accomplished much. Most of my time has been spent outdoors enjoying nature. A few days ago I began work on my "Red Riding Hood" doll.

Adding color to her face is the most enjoyable phase of doll making.

The Stitch Fiddler ~AN ELF GIRL

When I was searching through my stashes of fabric, I came across this colorful batik full of Autumn colors which became my inspiration for this doll's costume. Fortunate for me, I found the perfect color for the chemise and bloomers in a gorgeous golden silk.s of fabric, I came across this colorful batik full of Autumn colors which became my inspiration for this doll's costume. FRED AND FROGS ~Bethann Scott~ THE STITCH FIDDLER

FRED AND FROGS ARE SOLD
THEY WILL BE TRAVELING TO ITALY

FRED AND FROGS IN A BOX by Bethann Scott "The Stitch Fiddler"
Doll design by Jill Maas

I tried several different trims on the box before deciding on the brown polka dot trim. I embellished all four sides of the box with sequins and glass seed beads. Each one is hand sewn onto the box separately. This took about one hour for each side!
